R.I.P.

Jane Axtell Williams, my grandmother, passed away last night. I will probably be offline for several days dealing with family arrangements for the funeral. Please go visit the other NOLA Bloggers in the links bar for news and opinion in the meantime.

At least she passed away here in the city she loved.

I’m very sorry to hear of your grandma’s passing (I lost Grandma Rando January before last, and I still imagine I can call her for a chat, and I truly wish I could.) I know you were very close to both of your grandmothers. Which one was it? The one on Chesnut who I’m not sure I ever had the occasion to meet, or the one who was rather distressed that I’d enter a gentlman’s bedroom, unchaperoned, to view a painting? I’m sorry, I never really got straight which side of the family they were on.

    Best wishes,
    Moontwister
