Green Fog
There was some confusion last night that I really would like to clear up. (A full post on the Geek Dinner is coming soon) One of the attendees, Stybbie, got the hairy eyeball from a number of people when he said he was in the Krewe of Chartreuse. He was not referring to the group sent down here by the blogger Chartreuse, but to our Carnival Krewe.
The Krewe of Chartreuse celebrated its tenth year marching on Mardi Gras Day, 2006. It is not the same as the group recently referred to as carpetbloggers.
It is completely my own fault. I should have realized there would be confusion, I was just fried from dealing with my grandmother’s estate all day. Apologies.

Candice (who is only very slightly affiliated with Chartreuse’n'em) was at the party and she was charming and geeky.
Indeed. Dave Cash says she is alright and I trust his opinion. Evidently he has known her for awhile.
As one painfully aware of how easily wrong impressions can spread, I’m glad you were able to clear up that confusion quickly. Having Candice there in person probably helped, I imagine.

I’m glad because when I read dangerblond I though I’d missed something important. I am sorry I missed meeting Candice.
Gee, I didn’t even know I was a “Person Of Interest” until way after the investigation was over. I still feel maligned but Loki and Alan(?) were most apologetic. At least it was cleared up before they made me return the food I ate!
