Loki’s original post, whether the commentary came from Reagan, or someone pretending to be him, has been proved true by a systematic failure of the man to do his job, maitain any level of integrity, and involve himself with the betterment of his country.

Whoever’s parents did what, this guy is a blemish on the history of our country and no amount of metaphor will change that.

Comparing white supremacy to the failure of a president, or the comments of one, is simply inflamatory and a poor excuse for political dialouge. Why even bother. Just yell FIRE in the movie theater.

Trying to turn my father’s experience around to make it support for your own political views is in especially poor taste. You know very well that he is dead and that the surrounding circumstances are less than pleasant.

I would be willing to bet that you are not a New Orleanian, even the majority of republicans down here have had enough after the way that W failed to do anything except deliver empty promises in the wake of the disaster.

Bush comes dow n and gets filmed in front of a station that was handing out food during the aftermath. When he finished primping for the media he picked up ad left, taking the food station with him. One of my best friends was next in line, ask him how he feels about our dear president.

Your example is cute without actually being pertinent. Your average white supremacist does not have a public record of bungling and exceeding his authority like dear old GW does. Makes a bit of a difference. Guatanamo anyone? How about the economy? Or even better, since you decided to comment on a New Orleans blog about this, how about the Federal Levee failure and its aftermath?

The fact is that you have a prejudicial bias against Bush. You dont know the man personally. The only reason why you found this fictional quote to be “believable” is because it conforms to your prejudicial bias.

Lets take a racist, a vicious white supremacist, who thinks that the jews are sub human and holds up a copy of Mein Kampf as his proof.

Lets say one somehow manages to convince the racist that Mein Kampf is full of psychobabble, is a bunch of nonsense. But he still refuses to let go of his racist beliefs, and defending his mistake in believing in Mein Kampf by saying “The fact that it is so completely believeable speaks volumes, does it not?”

Think about that.
