Monitoring inappropriate behavior in students is one thing. Investigating their private lives, before hand, is like handing out warrants, just in case somebody is doing something wrong in their home. It's wrong and it's against the law. This gross invasion of privacy, violation of civil rights, and persecution of alternative lifestyles is indicative of how very badly our country is going. Are these kids supposed to wear a triangle sewn on to their clothes, like in the camps? Boycotting Memphis is funny. As if it would do any good. Americans as a whole, standing up for their rights and demanding the dismissal of 'educators' such as this is necessary, and timely. From a homophobic high school principal to Fred Radtke, I'm getting pretty sick of seeing good people pushed around by this militantly conservative agenda. Rather than boycott Memphis, how about a field trip of say several hundred supporters showing up? Whatever your personal relationship choices may be, watching kids get pushed around by a monsterous political witch hunt is simply fucking wrong.
