It was like the old Mardi Gras days when Canal was a lot of families with coolers, kids, chairs and and plenty of Chex drinks and fried chicken wings. You just can't set a tween loose these days. Now that I'm about the age my father was when I used to sit around bored out of my wits while my folks enjoyed themselves (or made fools of themselves in my estimation) I now find I have more fun... (obligatory complaints about the unconscionable admission price aside). The only conclusion I can draw from this is that Jazzfest is kind of an old man's game.... and I am an old man.
