It is, indeed, non-stop. As a cyclist I have come to have a solid antipathy towards the local rivers, especially after getting hit two or three moths ago.

ya know, maybe the next paint party should happen sooner than august, and we should concentrate on signs regarding this. St Roch and St. Claude isn't better either. Almost creamed a week ago right there. They can take the time to put in a bike path, but not fix the light. Stupid... glad to hear your okay, did the police show up? They're right there. seems like even more accidents are happening.

I hope you feel better soon! Be careful, and try to drive accepting the fact that you might be the only person on the road who knows and/or obeys the basic traffic laws.

Driving down I-10 Friday evening, I noted an SUV swerving a bit, and looked over to see what I expected to be some soccer mom screaming at her undisciplined brats in the back seat. Lo and behold, it's NOT the expected soccer mom, but a bleach-blonde bimbo staring intently at the screen of her mac laptop on the passenger seat beside her, TYPING!

Trucks can be replaced, people cannot. I am SO glad you are okay! Anything I can do, let me know.

I do not know which is more of a menace, the local drivers or the imported post-K drivers.

Watch your ass.

This shit is happening all over the place. In one week's time of trekking from the Quarter up to Touro Infirmary, I saw:

 People coming to a stop at a red light before plowing through anyway;

 Drivers running stop signs;

 Drivers blocking intersections at red lights by pulling out in anticipation of taking a right turn.

 Not to mention the dad man I saw last Saturday, plowed down by an 18-year-old on O'Keefe Avenue.
