Fox Jokes About Offing Obama
Now maybe its just me, but if this was said about a Republican politician there would be a storm of protest, accusations of treason, and a general call for torches and pitchforks. I submit the following as evidence in the case for the corporations that advertise on FOX to begin pulling their ads.
Why am I bringing this up here? Because the failure of the fourth estate is one of the major factors that has allowed the situation on the Gulf Coast to become the mess that it is. The consistent, mindless jingoism of FOX in particular has endorsed the most absurd offerings to trumpet forth from the White House with no attention paid to the actual facts they should have been reporting.

Ya know, there was atime when even joking about killing a presidential candidate would get you a few hours in the company of the Secret Service, red faces and not so much fucking smirking.
I’m disgusted that our nation has come to the point where the Haves & the Have-mores can do whatever the hell they want, stay in power thru press manipulation and most of the American Public is so blase’ about interment camps, secret overseas prisons where human beings are tortured, held with out charges or legal counsel, countries are invaded in violation of the constitution, laws ignored across the board, selective enforcemnet is used as a blugeon on dissenters, and the President of the USA can lie tyhrough hus fucking teeth, everybody knows it, and we sit idle as we are over run by a fascist regime.
I remember in school, asking why nobody stopped Hitler.

What’s doubly sickening about this clip is the (not so) subtle connection attempted through her verbal gaffe - Osama, Obama - as if they’re interchangeable. Is that supposed to justify assassination?
What the Repugs know, because they’ve used it ad nauseum themselves, is that if they repeat it enough, the dumbasses that support them will believe it. Just like the constant murmur about Iran and needing to go to war with them; if they keep interjecting that, someone will repeat it. If enough repeat it, some will start to accept it as fact, just like with Iraq.

I am reminded of the Duke Brothers from Trading Places with Dan Akroyd and Eddie Murphy and they are in the bathroom after the bet has been “won” and one brother turns to the other, in not wanting Akroyd’s character back in the position, and says “Do you propose we keep Valentine?” And the other brother says, “And have a negro run daddy’s company? absolutely not!” Yep, it’s that kind of thinking. You can bet your happy ass some retard is going to try, but it won’t be the type of retard you feel sorry for…It’ll be the one you should fear because he has a mission, he has a support network and you can bet your happy ass, he’ll have military training and he’ll mysteriously die shortly thereafter.
But, maybe we can give them something in return if they even try it and that’s the revolution that the military industrial complex can’t afford to fight because it will be against the people of the United States. Unless you are too fucking fat and happy to stand up for what is right anymore…you’re numbed by the television. What these idiots from Fox don’t seem to get with all their chuckle chuckle ha ha’s is that THE PEOPLE of the United States won’t sit back and watch the show if they try it…we know their tricks…enough of us with the military background aren’t going to sit back and let this shit go down without a fight. They stole our promises in the past, they won’t take our hope for the future…without a fight the likes of which they have never even seen.
