You so I think we need to call on Russia to send us a peacekeeping force. Maybe, that’ll get somebody in Washington to take their heads outta their arse. Also I think the State Department should issue a travel advisory, get the Convention and Visitors Bureau to start using some of the political weight they should have.

There is an RSVP phone number on the invitation, which is for Friday, August 22nd, at the Ritz Carlton, 15th Floor, 7 to 10pm. Proper attire required.

Also getting an award is “New Orleans Katrina Survivors”.

I’m sorry but I think the time is near for real action. I can no longer sit back and watch this city deteriorate due to laws that police use to protect criminals, the fear that people live in for reciprocity and/or the fear that resides within us to do what must be done. To steal from the Dark Knight, it is time for the city to have both the hero it deserves and the hero it needs! And just one hero won’t do…we’ll need a city of them! I’d be more than happy to have honesty and peace rule the day, if those who comprehend peace and honesty ruled the city. Until then, like Charlotte said…constantly and consistently…on the blogs, in the bars, on the streets, in our homes…but most importantly not to forget all this misery in our hearts so that meaningful change can be made.
