    Hi,
We were good friends with Paul and will miss him greatly. We stayed with Paul and Beth last October for a few days and really enjoyed our time with them. We had not seen them for about 7 years, so we are grateful that we did make it down there and got to spend time with our crazy man Paul.

    He will be missed

    Paul Andrew Chasse
CHASSE Paul Andrew Chasse, born November 16, 1964 in Orange County, California has entered into his eternal rest on September 12, 2008 after 43 years of sharing his light. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Beth, his mother Evelyn, his sisters Betsy and Suzette, and his brothers, Joseph, Jon, and Christopher. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Chasse. Paul was a great historian, and a professional tour guide for Haunted History Tours, of New Orleans. Additionally, he was a founding member and vice president of the Louisiana Living History Society, a group of local re-enactors portraying the Baratarians at the Chalmette Battlefield. He was integral to the group’s growth, a valued and respected liaison with the National Park Service, and was meticulous in ensuring that it’s newest members understood and respected the history they portrayed. When he wasn’t dispensing the history of New Orleans, he kept the city cool, in his capacity as a skilled air conditioning technician. He was a member, and Sargent at Arms of the Vieux Doo Dawgs motorcycle club, a support group for the Galloping Gooses of New Orleans.
