I shit you not.
Then again, who can take a nothing day and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile? Well, it’s you girl, and you should know it. With each glance and every little movement you show it. Love is all around, no need to fake it. You can have the world, why don’t you take it? You’re gonna make it after all.
Crap pants. Rinse. Repeat.

Sarah Palin is an idiot handpuppet cheerleader.

I’m so glad Joe Biden finally laid out exactly why “maverick” is bullshit in regards to McCain. I am getting so damn sick of hearing that word misused so goddamn smugly and smilingly. It’s a good word and I want it back.
The end result of this debate:
Biden: presidential, human, smart, answered questions directly, clearly and knowledgably, effectively debunked lies by laying out the facts.
Palin: lied, repeated lies, avoided questions, stuck to repetitive and misleading talking points, but was folksy and didn’t fall on her face.
The winner: Palin, for being folksy and not falling on her face.
The good news: I don’t think this debate will mean shit in the general election, and she did nothing to actually help McCain.

It’s sort of amazing that Governor Palin has performed so badly and been so uninformed, spoken in confused babble and generally been an idiot so clearly, that anything resembling even moderate conversation is considered a ‘big step forward’.
I suppose, by that standard, that one could shit their pants in church every sunday for an entire season, only to be held up with honors for, at long last, not crapping during the sermon.
Even scarier is the obvious fact that many of our fellow Americans can’t tell the difference between a hockey mom spouting memorized talking points she doesn’t understand, even as concepts, and a seasoned statesman, well versed in the workings of the world, from energy methods and foreign policy to the inner workings of congress and the details of hundreds of bills and legislation up for voting over the past 30 years.
When someone like myself, or any of you, can watch her or McCain speak and catch obvious lies, how will another head of state, say the prime minister of England or any of the leaders from the volitile middle east, ever take them, or us, seriously?
Thanks to Joe Biden for calling lies and mis representations when he hears them. Let’s hope this team gets even tougher when Obama next meets McCain for debate.

Caribou Barbie indeed…

Maybe I missed something here, but isn’t McCain always pushing himself as a “war hero-veteran-POW”? Apparently he’s an even bigger idiot than advertised…
On Friday, September September 26, 2008, John
McCain said the following:
“I know the veterans, I know them well, and I know
that they know that I’ll take care of them, and I have
been proud of their support and their recognition of
my service to the veterans, and I love them, and I’ll
take care of them, and they know that I’ll take care
of them.”
This statement–made near the end of Friday’s
debate–immediately infuriated veterans across America
and overseas. In fact, Senator John McCain has a very
clear, long, and illustrious history of not supporting
troops and veterans one bit.
Now, I’ve seen legislative examples, I’ve watched the
YouTubes, and I’ve lived this lack of support in more
ways than one. But now, for the first time, I’ve
tried to compile as much of this non-support as
possible into a single document–from a variety of
sources–complete with links, quotes, and video clips.
It’s something that readers often ask me about, so I
hope this helps. I’m sure there’s a lot missing, so
feel free to add more in the comments. But for now, I
think this should give us a good start in exposing
John McCain’s abysmal of record of supporting troops
and veterans. Here we go:
