    Awesome.

Sigh. How long until we can say the same about ol’ C. Ray??

My Bush Countdown Clock broke at 346 days. His presidency was too long for even a pretty decent watch battery.

Don’t be so overjoyed just yet. We still must suffer through the endless barrage of pardons and bullshit enactments that come in the final weeks of a Presidency. Will Scooter Libby get to Scoot? Will George create most favored State status for Tejas? Tune in tomorrow and find out!

Not to be too black here but in these parts there is still the threat of Martial Law being imposed and I put nothing past the Chimp or Cheney.

You may not be far off…

This from Matthew Rothschild, Editor of The Progressive magazine.

“we looked at National Security Presidential Directive 51, that he (Bush) signed on May 9th of 2007, this gives the President enormous powers to declare a catastrophic emergency and to bypass our regular system of laws, essentially, to impose a form of martial law.

And if you look at that National Security Presidential Directive, what it says, that in any incident where there is extraordinary disruption of a whole range of things, including our economy, the President can declare a catastrophic emergency. Well, we’re having these huge disturbances in our economy. President Bush could today pick up that National Security Directive 51 and say, “We’re in a catastrophic emergency. I’m going to declare martial law, and I’m going to use this combat brigade to enforce it.”

not only that, but watching Oliver Stone on John Stewart the other night, he alluded to this as well. I’m hearing it from all different sides. The McSenile department is hoping for it, so they can try and get their momentum back, The Obama sides are in full belief that there isn’t anything that W won’t do. Six month extension, then another and another, and next thing… its eight more years…

With the combat brigade training for crowd control, and tactics to arrest anyone protesting, I think its a really big possiblity… I can only imagine what will happen.

The McSame/Pallid mob squads are growing stronger as well. I can imagine a Obama win, and a mob growing out of control… Even McSames Manchurian Moment was frightening… My fellow prisoners… Either way, the next few weeks up to this event are growing ever more apart, dividing the country.

    Awfully american huh?
