The Hostilidays Are Here
There is a tradition, vile though it may be, amongst the NOLA Bloggers. It started a few years ago and has gotten uglier each year. I refer of course to that volley of rude and tasteless Xmas video we’ve come to know as the yearly Hostilidays.
This year the ugliness began when our very very own Penguin look alike (Adam West era, not the movies) came waddling up to his perch on First Draft to launch his dastardly first salvo. Unable to let that pass I will once again lead HumidCity into the fray! Beware, I have a feeling this year will get ugly!.
Expect lots of Lovecraft this year!

Okay, here’s one – it’s not awful (well cheaply produced, yeah) but the song cracks me up. One of the Houston radio stations USED to play it in their month-long xmas music rotation (from Turkey Day to Xmas), but I haven’t heard it on there in a couple of years. I think the fundies got to them. Hey, if I have to hear Celine Dion’s screechings I get to hear this, too!
