History. Meh.

I’ll keep this short so we can all get back to chasing internet phantoms. In the 17-24 loss to (ugh…) Dallas, Drew Brees threw one touchdown to bring his Saints career total to 121. He is now in first place, Aaron Brooks falls to second with 120. The longest streak of games in which a team has scored 24 or more points has ended at 17.

That’s about it. It sure woulda been nice if the D- or O-lines had shown up tonight. I’m gonna go try and separate the tears from my Dixie.

  1. I could have handled a mark in the “L” column from pretty much any team other than effing dallas. Was at a friend’s “Saints & Stars” party last night where there was only ONE duh-l-ass fan, and he was obnoxious from the get-go. Had he not been my friend’s (hostess’) brother – he’d have been in the ER having the sideways Abita bottle removed from his anal sphincter…where I would have kicked it into. There IS such a thing as a bad sport for the winning team and he embodied it the whole game.
That being vented – I hope this is the ONLY “L” this season for our Boys in Black & Gold and that our whole team shows up to work hard early and for the whole game next week and each game thereafter.
There will be some hella workouts this week and some tonguelashings. Get the fire back guys…you CAN and WILL do it! I believe, even as I recover from the nasty business of last night.
