Consortium of Genius performing at The Howlin’ Wolf 5/7/05

The Consortium of Genius, New Orleans’ wizards of multimedia rock comedy, are performing a show at The Howlin’ Wolf on Saturday, May 7th with local brass anarchists Egg Yolk Jubilee. Doors open at 8:30 and the show will start at 9:30pm. Admission is $8 ($6 for people in costume!)
I really enjoy these guys and their satirical experimentations. If you want to see how disturbingly far DIY can go then check out the COG! Best of all, despite the schtick and gimmickry they are also excellent musicians and have a flair for mimicry that puts Weird Al Yankovich to shame!
