Greetings!
You’re invited to witness New Orleans’ own comedy/mad science/video band
The Consortium of Genius http://www.consortiumofgenius.com/> make local
history. Four Thursdays from now, the C.O.G. will be taking over
Southport Hall http://www.newsouthport.com/> to shoot the pilot episode
of our upcoming television show (premiering in October on Cox!)
Appearing with us will be the incomparable Egg Yolk Jubilee. We need
YOU to come be a part of the crowd of onlookers for this occasion, at
8:00pm (although you are welcome to come earlier if you’re curious.)
Shooting will encompass a couple music ‘video’ performances by both
bands and some action sequences, including a scene with zombies! (Don’t
worry, we’ll be sure to feed the zombies beforehand!)
Admission is free, ages 18+, and of course, the bar and kitchen will be
open for the evening.
To sweeten the deal, we’re holding a drawing at the end of the night for
some fun stuff, including a new DVD player complete with a C.O.G. DVD.
To register for this drawing, you need only reply to this email with
your (real) name, and be present at the end when the drawing is finally
held.
