Sounds of the City
Well things may only be at about 25% population, but the ones here are not wasting time.
The music is one of the most important things about this town, and thanks to the perseverance of local acts like these it still sounds out! Local brass masters Egg Yolk Jubilee and their compatriots Bipolaroid bring the noise this weekend at the Circle Bar.
I must remark on how strange it is to see listings like “8pm – curfew,” on flyers. Not something I ever expected to view, but then I never thought I’d hear the phrase “last call,” in the French Quarter either…..
