Seeking Stories
Humid City is currently seeking stories related to Katrina. Appointments will be made to make podcasts directly to this webite. The audio files will appear in streamable or downloadable mp3 format, thay will also be mirrored on the New Orleans Oral History Project.
We are compiling an audio history of these strange and surreal times in the Crescent City. Inspiration for this project came from my fiancees mother who is a folklore prof. at Indiana University and from our experiences with Story Corps while exiled in NYC after the storm.
