Time to transfer
It looks like I’m finally gonna take the leap & temporarily head down to NOLA to find work & help rebuild the city. It’s a difficult decision because it means leaving my wife & kids for an indefinite time. But the reality is that there hasn’t been any worthwhile jobs up here, either pay-wise or satisfaction-wise; I have to find something that not only pays the bills, but also makes me feel as though I’m atually doing something worthwhile.
I don’t have a particular gig arranged yet, but from what I’ve heard, it sounds like there’s so much work to be done, that finding something should be fairly straightforward. But if anybody knows of projects Uptown, please let me know. (I’m primarily a painter, but I can do just about any basic maintanance.) Thanks.
