Ya’ll ready for Mardi Gras 2006?!
Humid City is and it starts for us on this Saturday, January 7,
the night after 12th Night, the Official beginning of Mardi Gras 2006.
The Maple Leaf will be bumpin’ with Carnival Spirit with the first EVER
Queen’s Balls! It’s the first Sketchy gig of ’06 in New Orleans
The Queen’s of Dreux, O.A.K., Kozmik Debris, M.O.M.S. & River Rats are
throwing the first ever Queen’s Balls! It is a costume night, although
not mandatory, certainly encouraged. After all, it is the first Mardi
Gras in the Post-K era. There will be a Queens Costume Contest. All
genders recognized. There will be a tumble down Oak St. prior to the
Sketchy beginning. Sextion 8 from Natchez, MS will be opening for JSDN
on this evening.
