New Orleans – Something happy With our beloved city and community still struggling with all of our many problems, I wanted to share with you one small cause for celebration. This afternoon, we will dedicate the first three new Habitat homes in the Upper 9th Ward. These homes are part of the Musicians Village Project and two of them will be purchased at cost with zero interest permanent financing by two local musicians (Fredy Omar and JD Hill) with the third home going to a non-musician family.
