On The Road

Playing cards, having cocktails and being amazed at the lack of rubble we have come to rest at Gary and Rachel’s in Cincinnatti. It is, as predicted, quite odd being in a city that works. A place where business is happening and you can go miles without seeing construction. The air is breathable too. Everything that an Ameican city should have, everything we have become used to lacking in the aftermath of the Corps and their titanic failure.

Off soon to Bloomington, IN for the Lotus Festival and a visit with my future mother in law. I love New Orleans but it is so good to be away for a bit. 50 weeks have passed since I last saw anyplace outside the devastated zone. See y’all Monday!
