  3. I am a former student of Mr.bat.I had a peice of me that left when Mr. bat left.Icherish all the knowledge that he shared with me .Most of all I charish him. Every year Mr. bat would take the Jazz ensemble to the New Orleans Jazz fest. The wind would blow the sheet music ,but i had the close pins.I will never forget ,Mr. Bat would look at me and say, Did you bring your close pins? Yes sir was my answer.Mr. Bat was indeed a Christian Man. I am not saying this just to be saying it .He told me that Jesus is his Savior. That is a great comment from Mr. bat that i will never forget. The body of Christ has many members .Mr. bat is a member of that body.Therfore, I also grieve of his leaving with the rest of the Christians, but as Mr. Bat has said , “I will see you in the mourning” I will never forget that comment also. God bless Mr.Alvin Baptiste and his family.
