On June 14th Antenna will celebrate the opening of the installation GREEN ZONE NEW ORLEANS, produced by Antenna and inspired by the Press Street book of the same name by poet Mark Yakich.
Mark Yakich is the author of Unrelated Individuals Forming a Group Waiting to Cross (National Poetry Series, Penguin 2004), and The Importance of Peeling Potatoes in Ukraine (Penguin 2008). He is an associate professor of English at Loyola University. The aim of “Green Zone New Orleans” is to approach questions of disaster and its aftermath from tragicomic perspectives.
