Please check out this comment thread going on at ABC News.
Apparently, many Americans hope we drown or get washed away, because we’re all scum sucking losers & whores, waiting on the government dime. A government, apparently devoid of any responsibility for the failure of our levee system or of FEMA to react properly, even those these things appear to be common knowledge in the evening news.
 
I don’t know about you, but I’m not going to waste my time posting on some vacant thread where anonymous losers can taunt us.
 
Keep in mind, these are the same people who come here once a year, get drunk and throw up on their shoes, treat every woman like a whore, every man like a drug dealer, get arrested and go home broke, to their cardboard homes, cubicle jobs and meaningless existence.
 
I choose to defend New Orleans by creating art & music here, staying no matter what, and remaining proud of my city, warts and all.
