Point of reference: my ten year old son is about 5 feet tall.
People are calling for this kid’s head, when they should be calling for the heads of his parents. It’s all so disgusting, tragic, infuriating.
Meanwhile, the local press buries this story and others like it for the much more human-interest-feel-good-fun story about how Dr. King’s Dream has been fulfilled by the election of Obama.
That’s right, issues of race in this country have been solved. We can all go back to sleep now.
