Saints Logo Two Weeks Ago…
Told you so… The Saints rushing attack cracked the 100-yard mark (26 attempts for 131 yards) with Khiry Robinson (7 for 53) and Pierre Thomas (11 for 51) leading the way. (And I’m not even going to mention three straight non-calls on the Patriots for outright rape… err, that is, “holding”…)

The Statistical Frippery…

Franchise Watch:

Pierre Thomas (685-8th) slipped past Mario Bates (678) in franchise rushing attempts. Thomas (3162-6th) also swapped spots with The Great Ricky Williams (3129) on the franchise rushing yards list. In franchise receiving, Thomas (234-13th) tied Deuce McAllister.

Garrett Hartley (362-4th) passed Marques Colston (354) on the franchise scoring list and joins Doug Brien (513), John Carney (768) and Morten Anderson (1318) in the Kickers’ Balcony looking down on all others!

Darren Sproles (1743-24th) pole-vaulted Keith Poole (1696), Lonzell Hill (1696), Ike Harris (1710), Deuce McAllister (1720), and Andre Hastings (1741) on the franchise receiving yards list!

Cameron Jordan (13-20th) continues the Sack Race with Junior Galette (12.5) jumping ahead of him and Sedrick Ellis. So far Jordan leads the Saints in sacks this season with five to Galettes three

NFL Career Watch:
Drew Brees (338-6th) is now just 4 TD passes away from Tom Brady and Fran Tarkenton (tied, 342-5th).
